Terms of Service
These terms cover getgigmeter.com and the GigMeter iPhone app. Using either means you agree to them. If you do not, do not use the site or the app.
GigMeter is a personal tracker for gig workers. You clock in, log what you earn and spend, and see net, net per hour, and net per mile or kilometer. It is for your own records. It is not tax, legal, or financial advice, and it is not affiliated with any gig platform.
Mileage is stored as a distance total. It is never converted to money or subtracted from net. Optional gas estimates are estimates. You are responsible for the numbers you enter and for any reports you export.
Work data stays on your device. If iCloud is signed in, it can sync through your private iCloud database. GigMeter does not run a server for app data. How we handle data is on the Privacy page. Location is used only while you are clocked in, and only to estimate distance. Coordinates and routes are not saved.
Clock In and adding earnings or expenses require GigMeter Pro. Reports and Settings stay usable without it. Subscriptions, trials, and billing are handled by Apple. Monthly and yearly GigMeter Pro each include a 14-day App Store introductory offer. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID subscription settings. Refunds go through Apple.
This site is the product page for GigMeter. Download the app from the App Store.
Use GigMeter for your own work records. Do not misuse the site, scrape it, or try to break it.
Features can change. The app and site can go down or go away. We are not responsible for lost records if you delete the app, turn off iCloud, or lose your device. Export what you need to keep.
GigMeter is provided as is. We are not liable for missed payouts, tax filings, inaccurate estimates, or decisions you make from numbers in the app.
We can update these terms. The current version lives at this page. Keep using the site or app after a change means you accept the new terms.
